Herron Contractors Ltd have completed roadworks on the A31, between Magherafelt and Moneymore. The large road reconstruction and bypass had over 500,000 cubic metres of earthworks material excavated, including over 25,000 cubic metres of rock. 46,000 tonnes of bituminous material was laid. The road was officially opened in 2016.
